About Me

Drea MacLean is a multidisciplinary artist and storyteller with a deep love for character-driven narratives and emotionally rich visuals. Rooted in a lifelong connection to the arts, her creative journey began with choir performances, musical theater, and youth showcases, eventually growing into a passion for visual storytelling through illustration, stage direction, and film.

Drea’s work is heavily inspired by animation, mythology, and personal transformation. She has directed original one-act plays, taught musical theater to children, and studied character design under industry legend Stephen Silver (Kim Possible, Danny Phantom). Her current studies in Cinema and Television Arts continue to deepen her craft in story development and visual language.

Through character sketches, world-building concepts, and story-focused art, Drea’s goal is to create work that resonates with the heart. Whether on stage, screen, or sketchpad, she brings emotion, imagination, and intention to every piece she creates.
